Education Qualification
- Assistant Director –
- Degree in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics disciplines from a recognized University with Three years’ experience in
- Scientist-B (Physical-Civil) –
- (i) Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute; and
- One year practical experience in the testing/ evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute
- Administrative Officer Grade-I –
- Degree of a recognized University or Institute.
- Scientist – ‘B’ –
- Master’s Degree in Zoology from a recognized University.
- Specialist Grade III (Urology) –
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI of CHS Rules from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Magister Chirurguie (Urology); or Diplomate of National Board (Urology)
- Scientist ‘B’ (Environmental Science) –
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a recognized University or Institute.
- Engineer & Ship Surveyor – Deputy Director General (Technical) –
(A) Educational: - Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I (Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act.
- Specialist Grade III ( Neuro- Surgery) –
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Specialist Grade III (Orthopaedics) –
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). - Specialist Grade III [OtoRhino-Laryngology(ENT)] –
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.S. (Ortho.)/D. Ortho. (Diploma in Ortho.)
- Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Medicine Pulmonary Medicine) –
- (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-Graduate degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section-B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.S.,Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (ENT), D.I.O. (Diploma in Oto-rhinolaryngology). NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
- Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Medicine Pulmonary Medicine) –
- A recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
