Educational Qualification:

Overseer / Junior Draughting Officer in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department – Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering: Provided that preference shall be given to the persons possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Junior Draughting Officer in Highways Department – A Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any University or Institution awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of the concerned State Government.
Junior Draughting Officer in Public Works Department – Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Draughtsman, Grade – III in Town and Country Planning Department – Must possess Post Diploma in Town and Country Planning awarded by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Experience: Nil. Experience: Experience in the field of Civil Engineering for not less than 3 Years.
Foreman, Grade-II in Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation – A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.E., Mechanical Engineering preferred.
