Assistant Professor – Must possess recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984 and a valid registration certificate with State Veterinary Council / Veterinary Council of India. They must possess B.V.Sc & A.H / B.V.Sc with at least 60% of marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale, wherever the grading system is followed. Further they must possess a Master’s degree in the concerned / relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale, wherever the grading system is followed.
Assistant Librarian – Master’s degree in Library Science (MLIS) or Documentation Science or Information Science or an equivalent professional Graduate with at least Fifty Five Percentage of the possible points, or its equivalent grade in any grading scheme.
Deputy Director of Physical Education – Master’s degree in Library Science (MLIS), Information Science, or Documentation Science that is recognized, or an equivalent professional degree with at least Fifty Five Percentage of the possible points, or its equivalent grade in any grading scheme.
Note: Candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility Test conducted by ASRB / ICAR / UGC / CSIR or a similar test conducted by the UGC like SLET / SET in the concerned discipline will be given preference.

The candidate selected as “Assistant Professor / Assistant Librarian / Deputy Director of Physical Education” on whole-time basis with consolidated pay have to furnish a bond / undertaking on stamp paper of Rs.100/- while joining, to the Registrar, TANUVAS, Chennai stating that he / she shall not claim the permanency in the University service in future.
