Educational Qualification:
| a. Valid Score in the GATE 2023
Candidate should have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023 as shown in the following table and Qualified in the same. The qualifying marks shall be as declared by GATE 2023 Organizing Body.
POWERGRID may also use the GATE 2023 scores for recruitment for other positions depending on requirement. Essential Qualification: Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) from recognized University/ Institute
Percentage of Marks: Minimum 60% or Equivalent CGPA * Final Year / Semester students who expect their final results by 14.08.2023 are also eligible to apply, provided they have obtained minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/years up to pre-final examination. In case of selection, their candidature shall be subject to their securing minimum 60% marks in essential qualification. Salary Details:
- Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000/- -3%- 1,40,000(IDA) during the one-year training period. They shall be paid stipend in the form of Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during training period.
- On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineers in E2 scale – Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA).
Selection Process 2023:
- The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
