Education Qualification

1. Senior Manager (Civil) – Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 9 years executive experience in construction / maintenance department in a large Fertiliser / Chemical / Petrochemical Plants or large Engineering / Civil Construction Firms of which last 3 years shall be (a) if executives of CPSEs on IDA scales, in E3 grade i.e. Rs.60000-180000 (if 2017 based IDA scales) or equivalent /higher grade or (b) if working in other establishments, drawing a minimum CTC of Rs. 15 lakhs per annum.

2. Senior Manager (Human Resources & Administration) – Two years Post Graduate Degree in HR or Personnel Management or Industrial Relations or Labour Welfare or Social Work (specialisation in Personnel/HR Management) or Business Administration (specialisation in Personnel/HR Management) OR two years Post Graduate Diploma in HR or Personnel Management or Industrial Relations or Labour Welfare or Social Work (specialisation in Personnel/HR Management) or Business Administration (specialisation in Personnel/HR Management) with minimum 9 years executive experience in Personnel/HR/Welfare/IR functions in a manufacturing unit/PSU, of which last 3 years shall be (a) if executives of CPSEs on IDA scales, in E3 grade i.e. Rs.60000-180000 (if 2017 based IDA scales) or equivalent /higher grade, or (b) if working in other establishments, drawing a minimum CTC of Rs.15 lakhs per annum. Degree in Law will be preferred additional qualification.

3. Officer (Sales) – B. Sc. Degree in Agriculture with 60% marks.

4. Management Trainee (Chemical) – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (in Chemical Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering or Chemical Technology or Petrochemical Technology), with 60% marks.

5. Management Trainee (Electrical) – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics or Electrical & Instrumentation), with 60% marks.

6. Management Trainee (Instrumentation) – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (in Instrumentation or Instrumentation & Control or Electronics & Instrumentation or Electrical & Instrumentation), with 60% marks.

7. Management Trainee (Marketing) – Two years Post Graduate Degree in Management (with specialization or elective in Marketing Management / Agri Business Management) with 60% marks. OR Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Management (with specialization or elective in Marketing Management / Agri Business Management) with 60% marks.

8. Management Trainee (Finance) – Pass in final examination as : (i) Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or (ii) Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)/ (ICWAI) from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India.

9. Technician (Process) – B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry OR Diploma in Engineering [Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology (including Petrochemical Technology)] and 2 years experience in the operation of a large Fertilizer/ Chemical/Petrochemical Plants. In the absence of sufficient suitable candidates with the prescribed experience of 2 years, candidates with the prescribed qualification and one to two years’ of prescribed experience will be considered. Against reserved posts, SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered in the absence of candidates with experience as above.

10. Technician (Process)Sanitary Inspector – Std X pass with Diploma in Sanitary Inspector Course from a recognized institution and 5 years’ experience in sanitary administration of industrial establishment / hospitals / Government bodies. Ex-Servicemen having equivalency/trade certificate with prescribed experience in the field issued by the Armed Forces, will be eligible to apply. Such experience in the trade after acquiring Class 1 HASST (from Defence services) will only be treated as relevant experience for the post.

11. Craftsman (Fitter Cum Mechanic) – Std X pass with National Trade Certificate in the trade of Fitter/Mechanic with 2 years experience in the trade in a large Fertilizer / Chemical / Petrochemical Plants or large establishments in Engineering Industry. In the absence of sufficient suitable candidates with the prescribed experience of 2 years, candidates with the prescribed qualifications and one to two years’ of prescribed experience will be considered. Against reserved posts, SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered in the absence of candidates with experience as above.

12. Craftsman (Electrical) – Std X pass with National Trade Certificate in the trade of Electrician with Wireman licence and 2 years experience as Electrician in a large Fertiliser / Chemical / Petrochemical Plants / Electrical Power Generation Plants / Electrical Power Distribution Companies or large establishments in Engineering Industry. In the absence of sufficient suitable candidates with the prescribed experience of 2 years, candidates with the prescribed qualifications and one to two years experience will be considered. Against reserved posts, SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered in the absence of candidates with experience as above.

13. Craftsman (Instrumentation) – Std X pass with National Trade Certificate in the trade of Instrumentation with 2 years experience as Craftsman Instrumentation in a large Fertiliser / Chemical / Petrochemical Plants or large establishments in Engineering Industry. In the absence of sufficient suitable candidates with the prescribed experience of 2 years, candidates with the prescribed qualifications and one to two years of prescribed experience will be considered. Against reserved posts, SC/ST candidates without experience will also be considered in the absence of candidates with experience as above

14. Rigger Assistant – Std X pass with 5 years experience in Materials handling, Rigging jobs and other works related to plant / equipment / maintenance in a large Fertiliser / Chemical/ Petrochemical Plants or large establishments in Engineering Industry. 

Application Fees

(Non-refundable) Rs. 1180/- including GST (excluding bank charges) for Managerial posts listed under Post Codes 1 to 8 and Rs.590/- including GST (excluding bank charges) for Non managerial posts listed under Post Codes 9 to 14. SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Internal candidates (i.e. employees on permanent rolls of the Company who have been absorbed in scale of pay as on the relevant date), are exempted from application fee, subject to furnishing documents in proof of eligibility for exemption along with the application.

Selection Process

Post Codes 1 & 2 -Candidates provisionally short-listed based on the initial screening of applications will be called for Personal Interview to be held at Kochi. Post Code 3 – Based on Test (CBT) and Personal Interview. The test is proposed to be held at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi and Personal Interview will be held at, Kochi.

Post Codes 4 to 8-Based on Test (CBT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The test is proposed to be held at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi and Group Discussion / Personal Interview will be held at, Kochi.

Post Codes 9 & 10 – Based on Test (CBT). The test is proposed to be held at Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi.

Post Codes 11 to 13 -Based on Test (CBT) and Skill Test. The test (CBT) is proposed to be held at Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi. Skill Test will be conducted at Kochi.

Post Code 14 – Based on a Practical Test. Candidates if required will be short listed based on test(s) / by adopting such other methods or criteria found suitable at the discretion of the Management. The test(s) will be held at Kochi.
