- Master’s degree (M.Sc. /M.Sc.(Ag)/ M.F.Sc / M Tech) / Ph.D. in Environmental Science/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Physics/ Agriculture Statistics / Agriculture Economics / Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics/ related disciplines from a recognized university/institution with 4/5 years of bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have National Eligibility Test (NET) qualifications and 2 years of research experience
- Experience in climate risk assessment in Aquaculture or agriculture / vulnerability assessment /Adaptation and mitigation strategies in aquaculture or crops / Simulation modelling or related studies with programming experience in R/Python. Experience in Crop simulation modelling, RS & GIS tools, and web portal development.
